About Maggie Clark

Who am I?

I have an academic background in nutritional science, international work experience in technology procurement, healthcare, and food, and I really want to make the world a better place.

What does a "better" world mean to me?

  1. I want to leverage technology to enable people to live healthier lives. This could look like helping chronic disease patients better manage their care, enabling scientists to rapidly develop personalized medicines, or integrating cutting-edge tech into existing healthcare systems.

  2. I want to enable those producing, distributing, and selling food to do so in a more sustainable way. This may involve supplying farmers with tools to optimize resource use, working with manufacturers to reduce food waste, or communicating the benefits of buying local to the general public.

What do I do?

I currently work to accelerate the adoption of genomics data sharing software by curating partnerships with government, academia and industry. I leverage my expertise in verbal and written communication, and ability to develop deep relationships, in order to push through the technical and business challenges that innovative technologies face.

I also work on improving digital products and optimizing internal processes to create a more efficient and streamlined way of work. I lean on my robust project management skills, ability to prioritize tasks, and experience in negotiation and delegation in order to deliver high-quality work on time.
